Urology Physician Opportunity – Ashtabula, OH
Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC), a fully accredited community hospital affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join our dynamic team. ARMC is nationally recognized for excellence in quality and patient safety, including accolades from Leapfrog and HealthGrades. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive urologic care within a supportive, multispecialty group comprising over 60 employed providers.
Position Overview :
- Full-time, outpatient-focused Urologist position serving adult and geriatric populations.
- Average patient volume of 17–20 patients daily to ensure quality care and manageable caseload.
- Predominantly outpatient with a small inpatient component (approximately 10% inpatient).
- Utilize advanced surgical technology, including the DaVinci robotic system, to perform minimally invasive procedures.
- No weekend or holiday coverage; on-call duties are 10 days per month.
- Well-defined referral network from employed and affiliated primary care physicians.
- EMR system : Epic.
Responsibilities :
Conduct outpatient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for urologic conditions.Perform robotic and other minimally invasive surgeries, with access to onsite lab, X-ray, and ancillary staff support.Participate in interdisciplinary team efforts to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR and comply with hospital policies.Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the urology service line.Qualifications :
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology.Active Ohio medical license or eligibility.ACLS and BLS certifications.Willingness to live within a 40-mile radius of Ashtabula or eligible for relocation.Previous experience with robotic surgery is preferred.Qualifications Certification Requirements :
