Lunar Energy is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Staff Accountant will be a valuable team member responsible for executing the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute, learn and grow in a dynamic start-up environment.

This is a full-time, in-person position located in Mountain View, CA.

On a given day at Lunar, you'll likely

• Support the global team with month-end close procedures, including preparing and posting complex journal entries and performing detailed account reconciliations.
• Coordinate and support external financial audit engagements by preparing necessary supporting documentation and responding accurately and promptly to auditor inquiries. Support the team on any Ad hoc projects
• Collaborate directly with the Controller to manage key monthly accounting functions and deliver accurate financial data
• Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, provide operational support to the Accounts Payable (AP) team, and diligently maintain all vendor and customer agreements.
• Oversee and manage the monthly end-to-end corporate credit card reconciliation process

Our Compensation Philosophy : Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The salary range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is $120,000-$150,000 USD.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company's sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
