Occupational Therapist, OT (Home Health) Full-Time - Greenwich, CT (#TE1109)

Location : Greenwich, CT

Employment Type : Full-time

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000 per year (depending on experience)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to implement high-quality therapy services in a home health setting. This role involves working directly with clients in their homes to improve function and independence in daily living activities.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum, accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association; or eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Licensure : Possesses current registration or license as required by state(s) of practice.
  • Certification : CPR certification required
  • Experience : Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a home health setting or equivalent experience.
  • Other requirements :

    • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.

  • Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state / Agency requirements. Evidence of a safe driving record and reliable transportation.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Conducts occupational therapy assessments, treatments, and evaluations under a physician-approved plan of care.
  • Develops individualized treatment goals and collaborates with physicians and care team members to coordinate client care.
  • Documents assessments, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes according to agency and regulatory standards.
  • Educates and instructs clients, families, and staff on therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and self-care activities.
  • Ensures compliance with agency policies, state / federal regulations, and professional standards.
  • Participates in meetings, care conferences, and professional development activities.
  • Contributes to quality assurance through committee participation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Performs additional duties as required to support client care and agency objectives.
