Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Sterile Processing Technician Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 03 / 02 / 2026 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, evenings Employment Type : Travel Position Details : Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) Department : Surgical Services – Central Sterile Supplies (CST) Facility : UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus Contract Length : 13 weeks Start Date : 03 / 02 / 2026 Work Location (Full Address) : UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus 55 Lake Ave North Worcester, MA 01655 Shift & Schedule : Shift : Mid Shift – 5×8 hours Shift Timing : 2 : 45 PM – 11 : 15 PM Block Schedule : No Job Description & Responsibilities : Perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization standards, and facility policies Support surgical services by maintaining accurate instrument processing workflows Work in a fast-paced surgical services environment at a teaching hospital Requirements : 3 years of Sterile Processing experience (required) Previous travel experience (required) Certification : Certified Sterile Processing Technician through HSPA or CBSPD (required) Ability to work independently and follow strict sterile processing protocols K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
