Electrician

What this job involves :

This position involves providing electrical maintenance and repair services for various facility environments within a Commercial Real Estate portfolio. The role requires expertise in maintaining and repairing electrical systems installations and equipment as well as participating in preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities to support JLLs facility management operations and ensure optimal building performance for our clients.

What your day-to-day will look like :

Maintaining and repairing main electrical services distribution services panels and powerline conditioners

Inspecting and maintaining plant substations transformers and HV switches

Installing and troubleshooting electrical utilities for production and support equipment

Repairing replacing and maintaining facility lighting

Performing preventative maintenance on emergency electrical power systems

Assisting with electrical needs in manufacturing areas

Completing assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks

Providing backup for diesel fuel delivery

Ensuring electrical installations comply with NEC and IEEE standards

Required Qualifications :

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Journeyman Electricians License

Minimum 3-5 years of electrical experience

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

Experience with electricians hand tools power tools drill motors saws and roto hammers

Physical requirements : Ability to stand kneel crawl bend and use hands fingers and arms for installation and maintenance tasks

Preferred Qualifications :

Strong math skills and interpersonal abilities

Basic computer skills

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with high voltage substations and equipment

Willingness to train in safe electrical work practices and high voltage operations
