About the Role
As Director of Education , you’ll play a vital role in shaping curriculum excellence and teacher development across our centers. This is a classroom-focused leadership position —you’ll spend about 80% of your time in early learning classrooms , modeling best practices and coaching teachers. The remaining time is dedicated to administrative tasks, data analysis, and planning professional development.
What You’ll Do
Conduct classroom observations and create behavior intervention plansMentor teachers on curriculum, lesson planning, and assessmentsLead professional development sessions in collaboration with Spiritual DevelopmentRotate between centers to provide on-site coaching and supportTrack and analyze academic and behavioral data to inform strategiesEnsure compliance with licensing and accreditation standardsSupport onboarding and training of new team membersMaintain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Complete 30 hours of annual training in adult learning, child development, and licensingWhat We’re Looking For
Passion for early childhood education and faith-based learningStrong leadership and mentoring skillsPassion for Texas Rising Star (MUST)Ability to work in classrooms and lead by exampleRBT certification (or willingness to obtain)Meets Texas licensing requirements for leadership rolesSchedule & Pay
Full-time, Monday–Friday. Pay based on experience and education.
Requirements :
Required Education and Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in behavior management or curriculum implementation.Minimum 2 years of experience coaching and mentoring teachers.Meets DFPS caregiver education and experience requirements.The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Higher Education in a related field.Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field.Certification in behavior management (e.g., RBT).Experience in childcare administration or center leadership.
