Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity serves a single elementary school site in Pittsburgh, PA, supporting students ages 3 through 8th grade. The caseload includes children with autism, requiring expertise with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Candidates must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students, including those with autism spectrum disorders
  • Integrate AAC devices effectively into therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification with CCC credential
  • Experience working within school settings, particularly elementary levels
  • Proficiency with AAC devices and technologies
  • Familiarity with serving students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
