Position Description

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst (policy / UW in commercial insurance preferred with a claims minor) with extensive experience in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They should have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects within the insurance domain.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Solution, lead and drive projects to conclusion from a business point of view time, budget, and scope definition.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Design and implement innovative solutions to enhance business operations and drive efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Education / Experience

In New York City, NY the pay range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This range is specific to New York City, NY and may not be applicable to other locations.
