Shift : 2nd | Hours : 3 PM - 11 PM

Job Overview :

Our client in Agawam, MA is in need of a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist who specializes in 5-Axis machining. The successful candidate will be tasked with the setup, operation, and adjustment of CNC machines to produce top-quality components efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and run CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) based on blueprint specifications.

Adjust machinery and troubleshoot controllers, equipment, and processes as needed.

Choose the right tools and adjust feeds and speeds to meet production demands.

Inspect machined parts with precision tools to ensure they meet quality standards.

Work independently while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.

Occasionally lift objects weighing up to 70 lbs.

Keep work area clean and organized, including tools, machinery, and equipment.

Monitor tool inventory and reorder supplies when necessary.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED.

Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC 3 & 4-Axis lathes.

Preferably, a background in the aerospace industry.
