THE POSITION

ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

THE PERSON

Catch Hospitality Group is seeking a professional that has demonstrated loyalty in their career history.   This person must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager overseeing revenue levels of $15M or more.   The ideal candidate exemplifies all of the following :

THE DAY-TO-DAY :

Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service   standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability

Execute on the restaurant’s business plan and   assist General Manager with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets

Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for the   restaurant staff

Maintain the highest standards   of health, sanitation and cleanliness within all areas of Beverage

Assist General Manager with managing Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant to include : creating a work environment that   promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality   hiring, training and succession planning process that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s   status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and   collective bargaining agreements

Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :

Five years of experience in fine dining or upscale luxury restaurant

• Forbes knowledge or training
• Knowledge of wine, sake, and beer
• Tech savvy, knowledge of applications such as Resy, HotSchedules or similar platforms
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
