About the Role
We're looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. This role plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and user experience of software applications and enterprise systems. This position applies modern testing practices—both automated and manual—to validate workflows and front-end UI functionality across diverse platforms. This role is responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, supporting building scalable automation frameworks, and collaborating closely with development teams to uphold quality standards across all phases of the software lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Developing and maintaining automated test suites for web and enterprise applications using modern frameworks and CI / CD integration, while conducting comprehensive manual testing of user interfaces and front-end applications.Building comprehensive test cases covering application functionality, data validation, business rule compliance, and extensive UI / UX testing scenarios across multiple systems.Documenting risks and defects in accordance with company and department standards while providing actionable feedback to development teams on backend processing, front-end user experience, and application integration issues.Develop and execute test plans using manual and automated methodologies.Design and maintain automated test scripts and reusable components; integrate into CI / CD pipelines.Perform manual testing for usability, accessibility, and user experience; conduct regression, exploratory, and cross-browser testing.Create and manage test cases, defect reports, and regression suites; analyze results to provide actionable insights.Collaborate with developers on requirements, debugging, and design reviews; contribute to Agile ceremonies.Conduct performance and load testing for scalability.Please note, this role is primarily manual testing with some automation responsibilities; evening work may be required for releases.
What You'll Need
1+ years of software testing experience with a focus on automated testing, manual testing, and UI / front-end testing.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience building comprehensive test cases that cover application functionality, data validation, business rule compliance, and UI / UX testing across multiple systems.Nice to Have
Experience with application workflows and integrations.Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or clearinghouse environments.Certifications in manual testing, UI / UX testing, or RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).Office Ally is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices in alignment with pay transparency laws. Compensation for this position may vary based on individual skills, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and other benefits. Actual compensation will be determined considering the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity.
