Position Overview

We are seeking a Paint Hanger to join our 3rd shift finishing department. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and hanging metal parts on the paint line, ensuring they are ready for powder coating or paint application. This position is key to maintaining production flow and quality in the finishing process.

Responsibilities

Hang, unhang, and stage metal parts on the paint line according to work orders.

Inspect parts for cleanliness, proper preparation, and defects before painting.

Mask, plug, or protect areas of parts that should not be painted.

Ensure proper spacing and secure hanging to allow for even coating and safe handling.

Assist with moving materials and organizing parts before and after painting.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Manufacturing or paint line experience a plus, but not required - training provided.

Ability to work on your feet for the duration of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
