Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job Description Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job Summary Pediatrix has an exciting opportunity for Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join Arizona Neonatology and their growing team in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. This is a Full-Time NNP opportunity with Sign-On + Relocation, and more! The NNPs work collaboratively with the Neonatologists to provide coverage to the delivery service as well as caring for all infants in the NICU. Key Responsibilities Provide coverage at Level III-IV NICUs affiliated with high-risk delivery services, and Level 2 Special Care Nurseries in the Phoenix area. Work collaboratively with Neonatologists to provide coverage to the delivery service and care for infants in the NICU. Work the evening shift alongside a Neonatologist in the Level III-IV NICUs. Provide 24/7 in-house coverage at Level II units with daily Neonatologist rounds and in-person availability for emergencies. Share the responsibility for attendance at delivery with the Neonatologists. Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Nursing Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications) Arizona License (or willingness to obtain) DEA (must be obtained prior to start) Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience as NNP Skills & Competencies Expertise in Neonatal care Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Shift Details Varied, a combination of 12 and 24-hour shifts, which can be varied to suit one’s needs as well as the unit/team.
