Shipping & Receiving Clerk

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk based in San Jose. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for Shipping: Compile and package orders appropriate for shipment to domestic and international customers.

This position will be on First Shift from (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) with a base pay range of $20/hour - $25/hour. Mandatory overtime, as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Compile and package orders appropriate for shipment to domestic and international customers
• Compile shipping reports
• Adhere to shipping Dangerous Good Regulations, DOT and IATA
• Work to improve shipment time to customers
• Help maintain and update shipping procedures

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to collect data and report results
• Computer skills in MS word, Excel, Teams
• Ability to trouble-shoot issues
• Knowledge of English grammar, verbal and written

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift and carry weight up to 50 lbs.
