AI & Machine Learning Engineering Consultant - Senior - Consulting - Location OPEN

Join EY as a Senior AI Native Engineer to shape our clients’ AI strategies. You’ll work side‑by‑side with EY consultants and clients to research, build, and deploy scalable AI systems that solve unique business problems. EY is a global technology partner that encourages continuous learning and collaboration across diverse, hybrid teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and implement scalable AI solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Enhance data pipelines, data storage, and data quality to support AI model training and inference.
  • Monitor, optimize, and tune learning processes to improve model performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal data science, analytics, and software engineering teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.
  • Support end‑to‑end data science solutions, ensuring they are engineered and maintained to meet client needs.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong analytical and decision‑making skills to guide project direction.
  • Proven project management experience and ability to track deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and cross‑functional teams.
  • Technical depth in Python, ML frameworks, and cloud AI platforms, with experience in generative AI and MLOps.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working in hybrid, global environments.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3‑6 years of full‑time experience in AI and / or Machine Learning.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining production AI / ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
  • Proficiency in generative AI models and frameworks (OpenAI, LangChain, RAG) and ML packages (scikit‑learn, PyTorch).
  • Experience in natural language processing, deep learning, and MLOps workflows.
  • Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools (GIT, Azure DevOps), Agile methodologies (Jira), and CI / CD pipelines for analytics solutions.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and software engineering best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel for client engagements.

    • Ideal Additional Experience

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or quantitative field.
  • Experience with image or speech processing techniques.
  • Strong skills in languages beyond Python (R, JavaScript, Java, C++, C).
  • Experience fine‑tuning generative AI models.
  • Background in sustainability practices in technology.
  • Deep understanding of teaching concepts, tools, and frameworks.

    • What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation : base salary $106,900–$176,500 (US). Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
  • Hybrid work model : 40–60% in‑person client engagements.
