As a Senior Analyst in Technology Risk, you will be a key member of the Coinbase Technology Risk & Controls team. Your role will involve supporting the enhancement and implementation of our technology and security risk management program. You'll be responsible for defining, quantifying, managing, and conveying risks, ensuring that your findings inform business decisions effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze various variables, including threat intelligence and risks, to construct effective threat models and risk scoring methodologies.
• Enable risk-informed decision-making by effectively communicating both quantitative and qualitative trade-offs to teams and leadership.
• Manage risks across their lifecycle : Intake, triage, analyze, and calculate (inherent / residual) risks while collaborating with subject matter experts and risk owners. Facilitate risk treatment decisions and validate the success of mitigation plans with stakeholders, ensuring continuous monitoring.
• Report on risk posture by delivering findings, metrics, and mitigation recommendations to business leadership through regular meetings.
• Maintain a reliable risk register, enhancing data quality and implementing process improvements for ongoing risk management.
• Communicate and train on the technology risk program throughout the organization, sustaining runbooks and risk register dashboards.
• Align with Enterprise Risk Management to escalate risks and report relevant metrics to senior leadership as needed.
• Engage globally by collaborating with stakeholders to scale the program’s risk framework across all Coinbase entities, products, and markets.
• Support audit and regulatory reviews by assisting in data compilation for inquiries from US and international regulators.
• Stay updated on global regulations, emerging threats, and industry benchmarks.
• Conduct technical risk assessments within production and corporate environments, translating findings into both qualitative and quantitative insights.

Pay Transparency Notice : The target annual salary for this position ranges between $167,280 and $196,800 USD, depending on your work location. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits like medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
