We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join us at Hazlehead. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, the Multi Skilled Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities in line with equipment and schedule attainment taking into consideration any legal requirements. This will include supporting shift engineers to maintain plant and equipment, customer service and required OEE.

The role

• To operate in line with all Wavin H&S standards and embrace and contribute to the Wavin ISRS Safety Programme
• Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation
• To advise and assist the Production Team to ensure that all products are made to the highest possible yield and product quality standards
• To ensure that the efficiency of the process is maintained at all times
• To undertake electrical engineering activities and assist in planned, unplanned and improvement work
• To participate in all training programs including the training of others
• Drive continuous improvement across site
• Be involved with project work as and when required
• Accompany contractors to facilitate work
