The Practice Development Coordinator position assists the Practice Development team on various marketing and business development initiatives for Analysis Group and will collaborate with colleagues throughout the department, including those in editorial, digital media, graphics, and research. The successful candidate will be someone who is a strong generalist who enjoys supporting multiple projects and tasks across a variety of practice areas and is comfortable taking initiative to contribute in areas needed across the department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle logistics for events, including seminars, conferences, webinars, speaking engagements, and sponsorships; assist with supporting materials; collaborate with other administrative staff as needed; assist with tracking results and drafting event summaries in collaboration with others on the Business Development (BD) team.
- Assist in the maintenance of the content in the firm’s experience database system, Foundation. Draft new case narratives upon request and occasionally assist with data quality projects.
- Under the direction of the BD team, pull content from Foundation and prepare initial drafts of qualifications packages that are properly formatted and grammatically correct.
- Draft bios for staff and affiliated experts to use in qualification packages.
- Assist with updating the team’s project management tool, Monday.com.
- Assist, as needed, with various projects related to contact research and mailing list development.
- Capture action items from business development team meetings, and follow-up as needed.
- Support other marketing and business development projects and initiatives, as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Two years of substantive relevant experience required.
- An ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Possess a client service mindset, including proactive approach to service and team collaboration.
- Strong event coordination experience.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including accurate proofreading and QA skills; pays close attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and competing priorities, while staying focused on quality. Well-organized, and experienced in serving a broad client base.
- Solutions-oriented, resolves problems quickly and effectively.
- Significant analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for audiences at all levels
- Proficiency to identify and implement creative solutions for projects to meet the needs of the firm’s internal and external clients.
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS.
- Knowledge of CRM tools a plus, but not a requirement.
- Limited travel may be required.
