Timken Gears & Services Philadelphia Gear brand has a current opening at their headquarters in King of Prussia, PA for an Industrial Security Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to manage and oversee Industrial Security. The person in this position will work closely with the Assistant Facility Security Officer(s) (AFSO), Senior Management Official (SMO), Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information Control Officer (NNPICO), and Senior Attorney-Power Systems to ensure all security requirements for the defense industrial base are met and compliant, as well as promote and ensure cybersecurity resilience across IT platforms / systems, network, infrastructure, etc. The person in this role will also liaise with external and internal entities as required for maintaining operational effectiveness.

The Industrial Security Manager - FSO assures that company associated facilities and IT assets, including hardware, software and related accessories and components meet respective requirements for safeguarding controlled technical data, including compliance with the Department of Defense and other regulations covering controlled technical data, including classified and covered unclassified information.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Coordination with Headquarters Enterprise Information Security & Architecture team as necessary and beneficial for all related and applicable requirements (below).
• Assure NISPOM security requirements are implemented.
• Establish, document, maintain, and monitor security policies and procedures.
• Interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations; providing clear and ongoing guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate. Conduct ongoing and periodic security education and training.
• Manage personnel and facility clearances, debriefs, badging, tracking, reporting and education.
• Administer day-to-day security programs : personnel processing, program reviews, access control, surveillance, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt / dispatch / destruction / mail logs, visit certifications, manage access to restricted areas of facilities, and track secure assets.
• Identify and document potential threats, security incidents and vulnerabilities, and assure suitable risk mitigation solutions are implemented.
• Support company requirements for CMMC, NIST 800-171 and other government programs and guidelines to assure adequate practices and controls are implemented and continuously monitored for effectiveness.
• Assure effectiveness of facility procedures for handling media and equipment containing classified information, implementing security features, incident reporting, user acknowledgment of responsibility, and threat detection, including auditing and monitoring for malware attacks, phishing attempts, and other threats.
• Oversee physical controls at all facilities, including emergency protocols.
• Travel to company and third-party facilities for site assessments, training, and other support activities as required.

Basic Qualifications :

This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data ("CTD") and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and / or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
