DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT - ANESTHESIOLOGY

New York City, NY

Were seeking a physician leader for a full-time Anesthesiology Director role within a respected New York City health system. This is a unique opportunity that blends meaningful clinical work with high-level administrative and quality improvement responsibilities.

Position Highlights :

  • Base compensation of $650K annually with a merit-based bonus up to $50K through Jamaica Hospital
  • Flexible work-life balance with minimal call, structured clinical time, and protected admin hours
  • Join a collaborative, mission-driven department within a system known for its patient-centered care and innovation
  • Lead and support departmental initiatives, EPIC optimizations, research, and PI trend development
  • Strong support network , including Anesthesia leadership, EPIC and Informatics teams, and quality committees
  • Academic and professional development opportunities , including staff education, informatics training, and executive committee access

    • Qualifications :

  • MD or DO with Board Certification in Anesthesiology
  • Eligible for New York State medical license
  • Minimum 3 years in a hospital setting with leadership or PI experience
  • Proficiency with EPIC, data analytics, and quality documentation
  • Sponsorship not available
