Our client, a leading athletic footwear and apparel manufacturing company, is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer . This is for an initial duration of months and is located at Beaverton, OR.

Product Integrity Engineer, Principal :

  • years' experience minimum required in apparel quality (has to specifically be in the apparel industry); apparel production, product development, etc. would be acceptable. Knowledge of apparel construction is a must.
  • Hybrid
  • Some evening calls may be needed depending on project deliverables
  • Potential for travel, but manager isn't positive yet on where or when
  • Degree preferred but not required for this role
  • PMP, CSEP certifications nice to have, not required
  • years' experience minimum required in apparel quality (has to specifically be in the apparel industry); apparel production, product development, etc. would be acceptable. Knowledge of apparel construction is a must.

    • The main focus of this role will be to help manage the World Cup launch in the marketplace; Contractor will help hold factories accountable for any issues in the production process and communicate updates to stakeholders

    Will work on a direct team with ~ others; cross functionally, will work closely with many teams product, design, tech development, risk assessment (on product side), manufacturing systems engineering team, marketplace ops, amongst others

    Who We Are Looking For :

  • Client is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Product Integrity team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing quality within an apparel retail or manufacturing environment, advanced presentation skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • This role puts the consumer at the center of every decision, delivering solutions that elevate the consumer experience and ensuring accountability for meeting consumer needs across the team. The successful candidate will apply a broad understanding of apparel manufacturing, business priorities, and marketplace operations to guide strategic decisions, educate others on industry fundamentals, and foster a consumer-focused environment that drives innovation and results. You will be a champion of quality, driving continuous improvement and delivering results that elevate the consumer experience.

    • What You Will Work On :

  • As an Apparel Product Integrity Engineer, Principal you will :
  • Provide direction and mentorship to the team of apparel quality engineers and work with leadership to align their work with organizational priorities and business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and accountability, ensuring the team leverages diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
  • Oversee investigations and manage non-conformance for apparel.
  • Implement Apparel Product Integrity (API) procedures and tools.
  • Deliver formal, quantitative and qualitative feedback to internal and external partners to drive decision-making and quality improvements.
  • Curate metrics and KPIs for quarterly business reviews.
  • Aid in the development of dashboards and reports for actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Consumer Creation and Global Sourcing & Manufacturing.
  • Drive issue management strategy and execution.
  • Ensure accountability throughout the EE supply chain by identifying root causes and ensuring proper corrective action plans are aligned with resolution of issues.
  • Partner with management to uphold quality standards and continuous improvement goals.
  • Provide critical data on product and factory non-conformance to Standards & Governance.
  • Facilitate understanding of product quality issues across departments.
  • Apply engineering skills and knowledge to enable data-driven decision making.
  • Lead ad hoc projects as required.

    • What You Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • years of experience in apparel product integrity, product development, quality assurance, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working with international manufacturing partners.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Smartsheets, Excel…)
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.
  • Additional certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), or Supply Chain a plus
