Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Business, Social Work, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 7 years of experience in community services, with at least 3 years in contract development or procurement. Strong knowledge of contract law, public sector procurement, and grant management. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.

Stars is looking to add a Director of Community Services to build relationships with California medi-cal ABA and regional center vendorizations with a concerted effort on compliance, rate negotiation and budget development.
The Director of Community Services (Contract Development Focus) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of community programs and services. This position places a strong emphasis on the development, negotiation, and management of contracts with external service providers, government agencies, and nonprofit partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery aligned with organizational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, vendors, and government agencies.
- Represent the organization in public forums, advisory boards, and collaborative initiatives.
