Malone Staffing Solutions is hiring a multi-skilled individual as a Material Handler for a manufacturer and supplier of steel in Lexington, Ky.

Material Handler Benefits :

  • $20.00 / hr pay
  • Weekly Pay
  • Temporary to full-time hire positions
  • 2nd shift – Monday – Friday (3 : 00pm – 11 : 30pm)
  • Benefits available

Material Handler Duties :

  • Ensure material is in its correct location
  • Pull material from its location when it is ordered
  • Ensure material is color coded correctly
  • Perform necessary warehouse functions such as loading, unloading, shearing, certain saw cutting, and waiting on customers
  • Keep area free of debris such as boards, banding, and shavings

    • Material Handler Skill & Education Requirements :

  • Must have proper PPE available (Steel-toe safety shoes, gloves, and hard hat)
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • High School Diploma, training, and / or equivalent experience
  • Ability to pass physical examinations
  • Ability to understand the applicable procedures documented in the training program
  • Product knowledge
  • Ability to operate shear and saw
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate crane
  • Ability to operate side loader and forklift
  • Ability to use tape measure, micrometers, and calipers
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Ability to perform other warehouse functions as necessary
