\n\nPCU RN Job Details – Vermont Travel Nursing Assignment\n \n

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n

Location : Springfield, VT 05156 (Vermont healthcare jobs)\n

Unit : Inpatient Progressive Care Unit (IPCU) – Adaptive Acuity\n

Start Date : December 29, 2025\n

End Date : March 30, 2026\n

Duration : 13-week contract\n

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), every other weekend and holiday coverage as required\n

\n\nPCU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license\n

ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)\n

Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience\n

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required\n

Charge nurse experience (must be willing and able to take charge as needed)\n

Drip and infusion experience required\n

ICU nursing experience strongly preferred\n

At least 3 months of previous travel nursing experience required\n

Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within RN scope of practice\n

Experience in small, critical access healthcare facilities preferred\n

Must have own vehicle for transportation\n

\n\nPCU RN Responsibilities\n \n

Deliver high-quality patient care in an adaptive acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting (typical nurse : patient ratio 1 : 5; may provide PCU care at 3 : 1 ratio as needed)\n

Serve as charge nurse as required\n

Administer and monitor drips and infusions\n

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n

Float to other inpatient units as needed within RN scope of practice\n

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold healthcare facility standards\n

Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing training as required\n
