What You Will Get To Do :

• Security software management :

Configure and maintain mainframe security policies in a Top Secret and RACF environment.

Create, update, and manage user IDs, passwords, and access rules to ensure users only have access to necessary data and resources.

Required skills and qualifications

Proficiency with mainframe security software (RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret).

Strong ability to analyze security risks and troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communication skills to explain technical risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Understanding of compliance standards and audit processes.

Monitor system security, review security logs, and perform regular security audits to detect and report violations and vulnerabilities.

Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis to understand and mitigate threats.

Ensure the mainframe environment complies with internal security policies and external regulations.

Work with application developers, other IT teams, and compliance officers to support application onboarding, resolve security issues, and implement security requirements.

Develop and use scripts (like REXX) to automate security tasks and improve efficiency.
