Cleaning building, completing laundry, stocking supplies, and preparing food for clients Respond to calls and provide front desk coverage Completes safety rounding to maintain therapeutic, secure, and safe environment for patients / visitors / staff including enforcement of rules. Accurately documents safety rounds. Intervenes appropriately and therapeutically in crisis situations using crisis intervention preventions and trauma informed care. Demonstrate competence in recognizing and responding to patients physical, mental, emotional and developmental needs utilizing crisis prevention intervention and trauma informed care. High school diploma or equivalent. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses / incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
Overview
Shifts Available :
- PRN; As Needed + rotating holidays and weekends
- Full-Time; 2nd Shift; 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM + rotating holidays and weekend
This position is responsible for providing support services for clients surrounding activities of daily living. Throughout the day work includes monitoring client activity, interacting with clients, and documenting client activity. This position assists with maintaining a therapeutic, safe environment utilizing the Robert Young Center guiding principles of trauma informed care.

Education :
License(s) / Certification(s) :
Possession of a valid Class “D” Iowa driver’s license or an equivalent license from the employee’s state of residence.
CPR
CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training, initial & yearly renewal
Experience :
Knowledge of proper food handling and preparation.
Mental health or substance disorder experience preferred.
