Program Manager- Quality

Aegis is seeking a qualified program manager to join our client's organization in Chicago (). The position is a 6 month temporary to hire role. The ideal candidate has the following experience :

• Bachelor's degree in materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or something similar
• 3+ years of progressive experience in program or quality management
• Experience with sheet extrusion, textiles, or plastics manufacturing.
• Experience with twin screw and single screw extrusion processes.
• Experience working with contract manufacturing companies (outsourced manufacturing process but, in house research and development. It sounds like they have the contract manufacturers pretty ironed out but, if someone has experience souring and finding new ones- could be helpful!)
• Demonstrated leadership and influence across distributed teams and manufacturing sites, with a track record of driving results in dynamic environments.
• Expertise in QA principles, SPC methodologies, statistical analysis, and quality control software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).- can be other software’s as well.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working for a company where this person has had to wear many hats.
• Experience working on multiple projects at once and able to pivot quickly!
• Experience working closely with R&D, engineering, and other teams involved in the manufacturing process.
• Able to communicate clearly with internal teams, customers, etc.
• Microsoft Office, zoom experience- able to document work, etc.
