SHINE SPECT is seeking a Senior IT Specialist who will provide advanced technical support for manufacturing systems and IT infrastructure at SHINE SPECT. The Senior IT Specialist role ensures reliable operation of critical systems supporting radiopharmaceutical production, including hardware, software, and network components. The position will work closely with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to maintain system integrity, troubleshoot issues, and implement technology solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior IT Specialist :
- Provide IT support for manufacturing systems, including MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), and related applications.
- Manage and maintain Windows servers, virtual environments, and network infrastructure supporting production operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure system compliance with FDA, GMP, and cybersecurity standards.
- Implement and monitor data integrity and backup processes for critical systems.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and validation activities in accordance with change control procedures.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution for IT systems supporting production.
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Provide on-site and remote support as needed for manufacturing operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT support for production efficiency.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years supporting manufacturing or regulated environments.Strong background in Windows Server administration, virtualization (VMware), and networking.Experience with MES, LIMS, and other manufacturing-related systems preferred.Familiarity with GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and cybersecurity best practices.Previous experience in radiopharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a plus.Working Conditions and Physical Effort :
Requires frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, grasping, and reaching above the shoulders and below the knees.Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average weight objects up to 40 pounds or standing and / or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.Fine motor coordination and strong depth perception is beneficial.Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and / or loud noises.Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily.
