Primary Job Duties
As an Accessory Shop Technician you will be responsible for component maintenance and repair. Perform component maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest GMM, and established shop procedures in the interest of flight safety.
You will be responsible to become familiar with and understand the GMMYou are responsible for your assigned work area in the shop to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazardsKeep tools and support equipment in a clean, safe and operational condition at all timesYou will be required to wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while using tools or operating machineryAvailable to work any shift and overtime if necessaryMinimum Requirements
Possess a valid state issued driver’s licenseAble to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screenLegally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipRead, write and understand EnglishHave mechanical experience and or aptitudeWork well with othersWilling to work any shift assigned (Four 10 Hour Shifts) Days of the week to be determinedWilling to work weekend shift when neededEducation
High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent requiredPhysical and Other Requirements
Be able to lifts 75 lbs. from the floor to chest height with or without a reasonable accommodationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionThis is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
