Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about providing high-quality Adult Respiratory Care. In this role, you will perform essential duties to treat patients in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies. You will work independently in various acute and critical care settings, collaborating with physicians and healthcare personnel to recommend appropriate treatments.

We offer competitive sign-on bonuses for qualified full-time positions : $7,500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with one year of experience and $5,000 for those with less than one year. Accountabilities
Supervisory / Management Responsibility
This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate from a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the American Medical Association or equivalent, or be eligible for licensure in South Carolina, or be a senior student graduating within the next 3 months.
Required Certifications / Registrations / Licenses
Must possess a South Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license or be eligible for licensure, alongside Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Maintenance of NBRC credentials is mandatory. Certified Respiratory Therapists hired before June 2016 may continue under prior guidelines. New hires after June 2016 must pass the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam with a Registered Therapist cut score and complete the Clinical Simulation Exam within six months of graduation to retain employment.
NRP and PALS certifications are required prior to independent practice in the NICU and PICU.
Other Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate must work effectively in a team environment and possess strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
