Heavy Duty Equipment Fueler / Oiler

Concrete Placing Co., Inc. is seeking Equipment Fueler / Oiler . This person will be responsible for Fueling, checking fluid levels (fuel, grease, and oil) and performing preventive maintenance (lubrication, oil changes, oil / air filters and oil samples) on all equipment used on the projects. The employee must also safely operate a fuel / lube truck to dispense lubricants to construction equipment. Must be able to take direction and accurately log daily activities such as oil changes, samples, fuel usage etc. This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this job description. Required Skills

• Class A driver’s license with an ‘Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements.
• Knowledge in fueling / lubing diverse types of heavy construction equipment.
• Checking and maintaining proper fluid levels for various compartments including engine, hydraulics, transmission, gear boxes etc.
• Proper handling of successfully collecting fluid samples for analysis.
• Accurate record keeping of all daily tasks via computer and paper transactions.
• Ability to complete all daily paperwork required for DOT.
• Monitor and maintain inventories of fuel, oil, filters etc.
• Be able to perform visual inspections on machines and report conditions / deficiencies.
• Comply with all safety & environmental requirements.
• Effectively communicate with equipment personnel.
• Provide proper tooling necessary to complete daily job tasks.
