[job_card.job_description]Maintain and manage donor and membership databases, ensuring data accuracy, security, and timely updates. Prepare reports, presentations, mailing lists, and communication distribution lists. Process membership renewals, donations, payments, and acknowledgements; maintain digital and paper records. Assist with planning and coordination of fundraising events and programs, including RSVPs, payments, and follow-up communications. Support online and in-person auctions, including data entry, item tracking, and participant registration. Assist with communications and outreach efforts, including newsletters, social media, and annual reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Type : Temporary-Hire Opportunity, full-time, in-office (30-40 hours / week) Pay : $20-$25 / hr DOE Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break Location : Honolulu, 96817 Benefits : Bishop & Company offers its temporary and contract employees attractive, competitive benefits, including paid holidays, paid vacation, health insurance, and matching 401k plan for all those who qualify! Bishop & Company is seeking a Development Assistant for a non-profit organization in Honolulu. Strong proficiency in Excel required!
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel ( strong Excel required ), Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience using standard office equipment.
- Experience with data entry and database management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and entering data.
- Ability to perform basic calculations and use Excel formulas for reporting and administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational skills to manage spreadsheets, reports, and event-related data.
- Experience with mail merge, email distributions, and other communication tools.
- Ability to support programs, including budgeting, reporting, and progress tracking
