[job_card.job_description]Maintain and update Expensify system and manage the main accounting inbox Monthly expense reimbursements, pull credit card transaction data, pay office rent, reconcile bank statements, organize Accounts Payable invoices, track property tax Manage the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable functions in Gravity software (vendor records) Help transition from paper checks to ACH File tax returns (sales, property) Help with WIP expense documentation Scan, convert, and organize all incoming loan statements and bank statements Ad Hoc support as needed Accounting / Business degree a plus 3+ years of Office Management / Bookkeeping / Accounting Clerk experience Very fast learner for new systems, extremely tech-savvy with some experience in Expensify (or other expense reporting software), Microsoft SharePoint, and basic accounting platforms (Gravity or similar is a plus! ) Detail-oriented and highly organized; proactive, resourceful Strong communication & follow through – coordinating with internal team Experience in some type of multi-entity accounting preferable; property management, real estate development, or private equity back-office operations is a plus! Accounting Specialist - Real Estate Development - Base Salary to 80k / year - Davidson, NC
- Our client, a small, well-established (30+ years in business) and still rapidly growing real estate development company is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the finance team based in the Charlotte / Davidson, NC area (Monday - Friday, 40hrs / week, 8am-5pm) for a hybrid role (mostly remote with in-office visits in Davidson, NC a few times per month).
- The ideal candidate for the Accounting Specialist role will be extremely detail-oriented and organized, a self-starter with excellent computer & data skills (very tech savvy to learn new systems quickly) & follow-through. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable Admin Management, Expensify Management, Administrative Support, Audit & Regulatory Compliance Responsibilities, and 1099 Reporting.
