General Purpose
The General Maintenance Tech responsibilities is to ensure maintenance tasks of the hotel are performed and completed within the company's guidelines and standards. As a General Maintenance Tech, you are also responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel facilities, equipment, and systems in accordance with safety, guidelines, building codes, and budgeted expenses.
You will perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including but not limited to painting, air conditioner repair and replacement, HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting, plumbing and electrical repairs, and landscaping.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors and fellow employees. Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and frequently requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing, reaching overhead and using all hand extremities. Frequently requires reaching, grabbing, pulling, and grasping. Ability to reach high places and work safely on ladders. Must be able to work in varying environments, both indoors and outdoors, and able to work safely with chemicals.
