Position Highlights :
- You will implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document care as per regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions and needs effectively.
- Your role involves assessing and evaluating patient responses to care, applying sound judgment in care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with a dynamic nursing team to develop and uphold a comprehensive Plan of Care for our patients.
- Guide and mentor ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Your Qualifications :
Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.Current Registered Nurse license in New York State is required.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is essential.A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to implement them in patient care.Thank you for considering a career with Albany Medical Center!
