On-the-job training and mentorship. Opportunity to become a certified journeyman sheet metal worker. The Plumber Apprentice works under the guidance of licensed plumbers to learn and assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial buildings. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals interested in developing a career in commercial plumbing.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the installation and repair of piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems in commercial properties
- Help lay out and measure pipe runs and read blueprints or technical drawings
- Support the team in locating and diagnosing plumbing issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, both on-site and in storage areas
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
- Observe all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Learn to use plumbing tools and equipment correctly and efficiently
- Attend training sessions and complete any required apprenticeship coursework
