The Senior Contract Analyst plays a critical role in the triage, analysis, negotiation, and management of all research and sponsored program contracts processed by the Research Contracting unit. This position supports both the Division of Research and Innovation and university?wide contracting needs, ensuring timely and compliant execution of complex agreements. The Analyst will oversee negotiations for standard research contracts, maintain and optimize contract management databases, and collaborate closely with the existing Senior Contract Analyst and the Director of Research Contracts. Responsibilities include interpreting and negotiating contract language, disseminating key terms and conditions to stakeholders, and ensuring accurate entry of information into knowledge management systems. Given the evolving regulatory landscape, this role requires deep expertise in federal agency grant and contract regulations, as well as contract law, to reduce delays, mitigate institutional risk, and support the universitys expanding research enterprise.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Higher Education or a related field and five years of related professional work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Paralegal certification/degree preferred.
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, Hybrid
