Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with strong general and vascular skills and ARDMS certification for a travel assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work across multiple campuses including Iowa Methodist and Iowa Lutheran in hospital settings
  • Patient population includes both pediatric and adult cases
  • Expected to float to all assigned campuses as needed
  • Possible weekend and on-call shifts
  • Uses Epic EMR system; experience preferred
  • Candidates will be required to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
  • Only one day off may be requested between 11 / 26 / 25-11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25-1 / 2 / 26
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted, with adjusted pay rate
  • Previous employment with the client within the last 12 months may affect eligibility

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a General / Vascular Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer
  • Must be comfortable performing both pediatric and adult ultrasounds
  • ARDMS (AB) certification required, plus one additional advanced discipline
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Must provide at least one supervisory reference from within the last 2 years
  • Active state license and certifications required; license required if applicable
