Strong knowledge on Mainframe scheduling tools -CA Jobtrac and IBM IWS.? IWS Scheduling Tool : Proficiency in job modification and scheduling automation.? Jobtrac : Hands-on experience with job tracking and workflow management.Roles & Responsibilities Job Scheduling & Workflow Management Modify and manage job schedules using IWS Scheduling Tool and Jobtrac. Ensure efficient workload automation and job execution. Incident Management & Disaster Recovery Support Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and execution to ensure system resilience. Operational Excellence & Compliance Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Mainframe Operations Best Practices. Ensure timely resolution of production issues and minimize downtime. Work closely with cross-functional teams, offshore / onshore teams, and hardware vendors.

• . Manage and schedule jobs in the OPC database.2. Implement, monitor, and maintain JCLs, ensuring they run efficiently and according to specifications. 3. Engage in short-term and long-term production planning (CP / LTP) to optimize workload execution.4. Work with application support to understand their needs and implement appropriate scheduling solutions. 5. Troubleshoot scheduling issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.6. Generate monthly job reports on OPC to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.7. Update calendars and periods at the end of each year in OPC.
