[job_card.job_description]Install, configure, and maintain IBM ACE formerly IIB and IBM MQ on Windows, Linux, or UNIX environments. Configure message flows, integration nodes, queues, queue managers, channels, and topics. Set up high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) environments. Manage day to day operations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of IBM ACEMQ environments. Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like IBM MQ Explorer, ACE Toolkit, or third party systems. Apply patches, fix packs, and perform version upgrades. Monitor message queues, error logs, and transaction integrity. Implement SSLTLS certificates for secure communication. Define user roles, security groups, and access controls for MQ and ACE. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and audit requirements. Develop and maintain shell scripts or PowerShell scripts for automation of administrative tasks. Integrate IBM ACE / MQ with CI / CD pipelines where applicable. Incident & Change Management Provide 24x7 production support on a rotational basis. Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes. Collaborate with development, middleware, and network teams for issue resolution. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3 8 years of experience in administering IBM MQ and IBM ACE / IIB environments. Strong understanding of message queuing concepts, integration patterns, and SOA architectures. Proficiency in UNIX / Linux shell scripting and basic networking concepts. Hands-on experience with : Queue manager clustering and HA MQ security (SSL, authentication, and authorization) ACE node and execution group administration Knowledge of DevOps, Jenkins, or Ansible is a plus.
