Systems Engineer Ansible Automation Platform SME

About the Role

We are seeking a deeply technical Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Engineer / Architect to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise-scale automation solutions within a modern, containerized infrastructure. This role focuses heavily on platform engineering, architecture, troubleshooting, and operational excellence , specifically within Red Hat's AAP environment.

What You Will Do

• Platform Management : Design, deploy, and manage AAP clusters within our OpenShift / Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Architecture & Troubleshooting : Serve as the SME for AAP components (e.g., Execution Environments, Collections, Pod containers) and troubleshoot complex platform issues in the container layer.
• DevOps & GitOps : Integrate AAP with enterprise systems for authentication (SAML endpoint) and establish robust GitOps workflows and $CI / CD$ pipelines.
• Upgrades : Contribute to and lead version migration projects (knowledge of AAP 2.x upgrades is a major plus).
