Key Job Details - Labor & Delivery RN Location : Little Rock, Arkansas (72205) - Arkansas nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit (14 LDRs, 3,500 deliveries / year) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 - End : 2 / 22 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (1830-0700), three shifts per week (36 hours / week) Weekend / Holiday : Up to every other weekend and rotating holidays Floating : Required to Post-Partum / Antepartum units as needed Orientation : 2-3 days Dress Code : Caribbean Blue scrubs provided on unit Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2070-$2220 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Compact or Arkansas Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center preferred BLS certification (required) NRP certification (required) AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (preferred) Must reside 100 miles from facility (no local candidates) Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients and newborns in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery setting Circulate in the operating room and assist with deliveries, including C-sections Start IVs, draw labs, and administer medications (Oxytocin, Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin Infusions, etc.) Operate and monitor specialized clinical equipment : Alaris pumps, epidural pumps, SCDs, fetal monitors, infant warmers Document patient care using EPIC and manage medications via Pyxis Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), respiratory therapists, and anesthesia providers Float to Post-Partum and Antepartum units as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies regarding dress code, jewelry, and personal appearance Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in Little Rock, Arkansas, and make a difference as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse!
