Warehouse Supervisor - Palmer Logistics

Palmer Logistics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with 3PL experience to help lead operations, support our team, and ensure a safe, productive environment. This role reports directly to the Site Manager and requires strong leadership, knowledge of warehouse operations, time management, and hands-on involvement.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, shipping, returns, inventory control, and reporting.
Assist with hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and disciplining warehouse staff.
Ensure equipment is operating safely and authorize repairs when needed.
Manage employee time records and attendance.
Enforce company policies and procedures.
Prepare, process, and distribute operational reports and records.
Participate in corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
Monitor safety concerns and report issues promptly to leadership.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
Qualifications
4-6 years of logistics experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in 3PL warehouse operations; RF Scanner knowledge required.
Forklift operation experience (sit-down and reach truck required; cherry picker a plus).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
College degree in Logistics, Business, or related field a plus (not required with equivalent experience).
Desired Skills
Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
Servant-leader mindset with the ability to motivate teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities.
Hazmat / DOT / IATA / IMDG knowledge a plus.
Lean Six Sigma experience or certification a plus.
