Job Summary : Provides total patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and individual patient needs in conformance with the recognized standards of nursing practice.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties

Assesses patient and / or conducts screenings and documents utilizing standard scales when indicated as required per organization.

Prioritizes and documents patient problems based on assessed needs / problems in collaboration with patient, family, and health care team.

Documents changes in patient condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care / intervention.

Utilizes organization-wide safe medication practices including but not limited to the 5 rights of medication administration, barcode scanning and other medication safety processes specific to the unit / department.

Knows actions and usual dosage, indications and side effects of medications administered.

CUSTOMER FOCUS

Commits to the service of others by attending a class or program for service development.

Exemplifies excellent customer service. Is recognized by the facility in various way that are considered to be providing excellent customer service.

PEOPLE AND CULTURE

Maintains a neat appearance, is polite to internal and external patients and customers, is reliable and has good in person and phone etiquette.

Participates in an organization-wide event / programs and supports the organization in a positive manner.

Willingness to express a positive and professional approach to job responsibilities.
