Job Description

OB / GYN Hospitalist - New Grads with Residency Accepted (Sign on + Relocation Bonus)

Location :  Palm Springs, CA

Position Type :  Full-time / Part-time

Overview :

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB / GYN Hospitalist to join our team in Palm Springs, California. This is a permanent position with flexible scheduling and excellent support. Enjoy practicing in a beautiful desert community where most people vacation!

Position Details :

  • Full-time : ~7.5 (24-hour in-house) shifts / month (~2190 hours annually)
  • Part-time : ~5.5 (24-hour in-house) shifts / month (~1560 hours annually, still benefit eligible)
  • Always 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24 / 7 (never on shift alone)
  • Average : ~60 deliveries / month
  • Level III NICU (30 beds; newborns 23 weeks+)
  • Responsibilities : Delivery attendance, OB triage, patient management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage. Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students

Requirements :

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB / GYN
  • California license (or willing to obtain)
  • OB Hospitalist experience preferred
  • Must live locally or be willing to relocate
  • DEA required before start
  • Not accepting locums or visa candidates
