Entry-Level Assembler
As an Entry-Level Assembler, you'll be a vital part of our manufacturing team, contributing to the construction of high-quality electrical power solutions. This role involves performing essential assembly tasks that support our production processes.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Preparing for assembly tasks by reviewing instructions, blueprints, and parts lists, and collecting necessary components and tools.
- Accurately positioning parts and subassemblies using templates or measurement tools.
- Assembling components while ensuring proper fit and fastening connections securely.
- Assisting in the development of prototypes and participating in various assembly projects beyond the typical production line.
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and standards.
- Efficiently utilizing resources and tools to achieve production goals with minimal waste.
- Collaborating with team members and providing guidance on basic assembly tasks as required.
- Conducting inspections of completed work to confirm that all assemblies meet quality standards before passing them to the next stage.
- Documenting assembly processes by filling out production and quality control forms.
We are looking for candidates who :
Possess a High School diploma, GED, or practical experience that demonstrates skill development.Have 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, though this is not mandatory.Are comfortable using hand and power tools safely.Can read and interpret technical drawings and bills of materials.Have basic computer skills.Can understand written and verbal instructions in English.Physical demands of this job include :
This position is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level by the US Department of Labor.Lifting requirements include : lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally (with assistance), lifting up to 40 pounds frequently, and carrying up to 40 pounds occasionally.The role involves continuous standing and walking, with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting.Tasks include gripping and manipulating tools on a continuous basis, and occasionally using assistive devices for lifting and moving.Compensation : Pay starts at $20 per hour, with the total compensation package influenced by skills, experience, and other qualifications.
