Overview
Seeking an experienced Licensed Land Surveyor / Manager to lead field and office operations for civil and transportation projects across the Triad region. Youll oversee multiple crews manage project delivery and partner with municipal and DOT clients while supporting a growing regional practice.
Responsibilities
- Plan coordinate and supervise multiple field crews and office technicians.
- Manage QA / QC budgets schedules and client expectations.
- Collaborate with DOT and municipalities on roadway and utility corridor surveys.
- Mentor staff through training and performance development.
- Support proposal preparation and client relationship management.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors preferred.Kentucky PLS or exam eligibility within six months (exam fees paid).12 years of survey experience; 5 in a leadership role.Strong DOT / municipal project background.Proficient with Bentley MicroStation / OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D .Knowledge of federal state and local survey standards.Preferred
Subsurface utility locating / designating.LiDAR aerial mapping or sUAS experience.Compensation & Benefits
Salary $85000 - $145000 commensurate with experience.ESOP participation and 401(k) with match.Medical dental vision starting first of the month after 30 days; HSA options.Sign-on bonus $5000 - $10000 after 90 days (usable for relocation).45 - 50 hour work week PTO tuition support professional development reimbursement.Working Conditions
Office-based with periodic field visits and occasional travel. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. when assisting in the field.
