Salary Range Direct : $70- 78k / yr + Benefits

Our Electrical Engineer II performs a variety of engineering research and or product development in an engineering discipline such as electronic, electrical, systems and mechanical engineering. Ability to use advanced theory, mathematical, scientific, or engineering principles to solve problems, conduct testing, prepare documentation, create applications, or devices in the completion of their work. Assist and design and develop systems to test and validate solutions for repairable items. This position is at required to work onsite at the CRF and may be allowed (with approval) to work remotely one (1) day per week.

Specific tasks include :

• Designs, modifies and implements test plans, associated specifications, and engineering changes based on system / engineering requirements
• Assists in design, development, and modification of systems, end items, machines, and associated test plans
• Provides technical support in assessments determining repairable item status based on system requirements
• Supports design and / or fabrication of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems, assemblies, and subassemblies
• Contributes to design modifications through CAD and schematic software
• Contributes to the completion of assigned technical tasks and provides customer support in the engineering discipline
• Represents the organization and provides customer support
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Assists in reviewing procedures to ensure that the test and repair process is adequate for level of testing
• Reviews and evaluates failure data received from field locations, and offers recommendations for resolutions
• Offers technical solutions to a broad spectrum of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
• Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects
• Contacts are with immediate supervisor, project leaders, other professionals in the section or group and limited customer interaction
• Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal or external representatives concerning specifics to operations
• Performs other related tasks as assigned

Position is subject to FAR 52.222-41, Service Contract Act (SCA) of 1965, as Amended Nov-07, and the most current SCA Wage Determination (WD) issued by the Government under Peratons prime contract.

For this position, there will be only one bill rate regardless of hours worked in a day and / or workweek.
