Position Title : Lead / Architect (Data & Financial Systems) Location : Charlotte, NC office Duration : 6-month contract (Potential for contract extension or possible conversion to FTE.) Employment Type : Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. Who we are looking for / Requirements : 7–8 years of hands-on experience in backend software engineering. Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining backend systems. Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development. Extensive experience deploying microservices on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, ECS, or Fargate. Deep understanding of API integration and experience building microservices that integrate with third-party vendor APIs. Strong backend integration skills, including data handling, API orchestration, and service-to-service communication. Experience in architecting and designing backend systems. Primary focus on Node.js for backend services - Typescript, Javascript Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing : Utilize AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) to build, deploy, and manage applications. Optimize deployments for performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with product managers to define API specifications. Design solutions that integrate vendor APIs into existing systems. Create documentation and maintain version control for APIs Primary focus on Node.js for backend services - Typescript, JavascriptDesign, develop, and maintain scalable microservices deployed on AWS. Implement and integrate APIs, ensuring seamless communication with internal systems and third-party vendor services. Write, test, and deploy backend code using Node.js and AWS services.
