Design Engineer II

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is seeking a Design Engineer II to join their team. As a Design Engineer II, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative project development and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location : Springfield, MO

Pay Range : $43

What's the Job?

Develop and maintain detailed CAD models and technical drawings for various engineering projects.

Use CAD drawings to 3D print tools and parts for the plant.

Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure models meet project specifications and requirements.

Reverse engineer parts that can be produced using 3D printing technology and update models based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders.

Revise and update models based on feedback, ensuring continuous improvement and accuracy.

What's Needed?

Strong understanding of engineering principles and CAD software.

Experience with 3D printing and reverse engineering techniques.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good communication skills and willingness to teach and support others.
